The IEEE802.11 Plenary had adjourned before the noon. TGai had made satisfactory progress during this week. From WG point of view we had controversial topics that I posted to this blog on Wednesday. This is good time to reconsider about the credit of voting right. This topic will be discussed in the EC too. So I am expecting that we are going to improve the system for the quality of standard making process.
In the afternoon, I went to Black Mustang Ranch. I and Monica who is the owner of the ranch had the training ride of 20km.
She is the expert and taught me many things about Endurance during the trail. It is not about horseback riding technology, she mainly taught me the strategy of endurance race. That covered how to get smooth Vet Check, bait control to avoid dehydration and etc,.
The Ride distance was around 20km and it took 2hours. Therefore the average speed is nearly 10km/h that is the ideal speed of typical endurance race. This was a very valuable experience for me, because I did not have a chance to run through the 20km with this speed.
After finishing the ride, She also showed me the way of gait inspection. And I also supported her to mix the bait and provide it to the horses.
Anyway, there was an old traditional western style town named PilotPoint. I only went through the center of the town, but if I have enough time I would like to stop at there and may have some coffee.
I left the Ranch in the early night to join the home party of IEEE802 peoples. The host of this party is my friend and he is former chair of TGub. He is corrector of Scotch and served many rare scotch tonight as well.
(If you do not know what is the TGub, please surf my past blog.)
Before I enjoyed those Scotch, I made a presentation by WEB-ex for PARTECH2015 which is held in Kyoto. The PARTEC was produced by PRUG (Packet Radio User's Group) who is one of the pioneer group of the wireless Internet communications. The PRUG is my mentor and I was inspired with a theory of genuine Internet that they gave me.
I got good 50years single cask malt with thank for all of my PRUG, IEEE and Horse Lovers.
